Led by Dylan Carlson, Earth are legends of drone doom, inspiring and influencing everyone to come after Earth 2. Moving away from the extreme sub-bass and crushing riffs, Earth’s most recent material displays a softer side while still maintaining some of the drone characteristics that they’re known for. This album is the perfect example of that. Slow, instrumental music, with memorable guitar riffs that often repeat throughout the whole track.
